Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta

Garlic

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine  pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

Boil Water

  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.

Cook Pasta

  • Add fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Sauté the Shrimp

Melt Butter

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp of unsalted butter over medium heat.

Cook Shrimp

  • Sauté the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Prepare the Sauce

Melt Remaining Butter

  • In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tbsp of butter.

Fried garlic

  • Add the chopped garlic and stir for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add Cream

  • Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

Stir in Cheese

  • Incorporate 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, mixing well until smooth.

Step 4: Combine Pasta and Shrimp

Mix Pasta and Sauce

  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter sauce.

Add Shrimp

  • Add the cooked shrimp and mix until everything is well-coated in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
